You’ll find a variety of excellent local restaurants, many serving traditional Portuguese meals. Alternatively, stay in and prepare your own meals in the well-equipped kitchen, which offers all the necessary utensils to whip up and eat alfresco meals on the spacious terrace.
On the doorstep you have the very lovely Casa da Guia. This was an old manor house which has been turned into a great sociable place with boutique shops a good selection of superb restaurants.
There is a bus which goes along the front into Cascais if you didn’t want to walk the 20 minutes along the coast road (which has a purpose built walker’s pathway). It’s easy to make use of this circular route bus which passes each 7 to 15 minutes depending on the season.
