Self-catering Portuguese villa with private pool surrounded by woodland yet enough close to all the amenities of Ericeira within a few minutes drive. (A car is necessary for this property).
The small town of Terrugem is fine for every day needs but for a more atmospheric experience the drive to Ericeira is well worth it for good cuisine and a very typical Portuguese fishing village atmosphere.
The villa is situated in a quiet rural cul-de-sac just minutes from the local villages of Terrugem with a small selection of typical restaurants, supermarkets and general services. The villa rental is half an hour from Cascais, Sintra or Lisbon.
Local beaches (Magoito & Azenhas do Mar) offer excellent characteristics for practicing water sports such as body boarding, windsurfing, surfing, diving and fishing.
The Lisbon coast is a world renowned surfing region and has an abundance of beautiful beaches several of which are in close proximity.

Mogoito and Azenhas do Mar beaches are the ones closest to the holiday villa and offer excellent characteristics for practicing water sports such as body boarding, windsurfing, surfing, diving and fishing. Magoito is just 5 minutes drive and Azenhas do Mar is about 10 minutes by car.
This beautiful beach is enclosed by majestic cliffs and is at the bottom of a steep slope. The strong waves make good conditions for surfing, body boarding and wind surfing and there are plenty of restaurants bars and cafes.
This is an EEC blue flag beach with lifeguards on duty during the season and an average seawater temperature in summer of 17-18 ºC. Parking is available and umbrellas can be hired.

The delightful old town of Ericeira takes you back in time to the days when it was a tiny fishing village. Cobbled streets, white-washed houses and a plethora of restaurants and cafes offer excellent food, especially the sea-food for which Portugal is deservedly famous.
